Sarah Magee-Graham
Instructor in Training

Picture
Having registered for CanTRA’s instructor certification program in 2014, Sarah enjoys assisting with rider lessons while working hard to to complete her Instructor certification. She started volunteering with PARD in 2009, sidewalking, leading and working with the horses. She is patient and enjoys people, especially when she can share her love for horses.
Sarah is always on hand at events, lending a hand where ever she is needed. Sarah enjoys being able to give back to the community doing something that is so much fun!

When not helping with PARD, Sarah spends her free time riding her horse, Mojo. Mojo is retired now - being 23 - they spend their time keeping him in shape and hanging around the barn. Both look forward to the annual PARD Games Show where they can compete in fun games with friends.

If Sarah's not at the barn, she's likely working hard at the Peterborough Humane Society, another not-for-profit organization. She has been filling a temporary full-time position and hopes to continue in this role into the future with the exciting new build.

With the help of her friends and family, Sarah always makes sure she has time for what is important.

PARD's Charitable Registration No. 11909 1759 RR0001

PARD Therapeutic Riding operates on the traditional territory of the Michi Saagiig Anishinaabeg, covered by the Williams Treaties. We honour the enduring presence of the Anishinaabeg, including Curve Lake First Nation, Hiawatha First Nation, and Alderville First Nation, and recognize the stewardship of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples across Turtle Island.
We are grateful for the opportunity to gather, learn, and ride on this land. As an organization dedicated to accessibility, wellness, and community, we recognize that reconciliation requires more than words. We commit to ongoing learning, listening to Indigenous voices, and aligning our values of inclusion and care with the principles of truth and reconciliation.
