BAIL
Bail was 16 years old when he was purchased for PARD in August of 2009. Bail is a Quarter Horse who had not been used much by his previous owner, in the recent years except for the occasional ride. This situation created the opportunity for PARD to purchase Bail. |
Although Bail had been enjoying a pretty easy work life at his previous home, it was immediately apparent when he came to PARD that he truly loved interacting with people. This personality trait, along with his willingness makes him a key member of the PARD line up.
Bail’s love of people and the attention they give him, has made him an instant hit with riders and volunteers alike. |

ROBBIE

Robbie came to PARD in 2000 when he was just 8 years old. He is a Halflinger/Welsh Pony cross. Robbie was trained to drive before PARD purchased him, therefore making it a fairly easy transition to becoming a riding horse and ultimately, becoming a therapeutic horse. |
Robbie fell into the routine of PARD quickly and soon became a trusted mount for many young riders. Riders and volunteers alike love Robbie’s long and full mane, forelock and tail. When the program moved to our current home, Robbie moved there with us and has continued to be an integral part of the program carrying a full slate of riders each lesson night.

SEQUAL

Sequal came to PARD in the spring 2008 at the seasoned age of 27 years old. Sequal’s previous owners were moving and could not take a horse with them so they generously donated Sequal to PARD. He is a pure bred Arabian horse. |
Although Sequal is small, his heart is big especially towards his riders.
Sequal had been a show horse in his younger days, therefore making him accustomed to many different environments.
This experience in the show world made Sequal comfortable at PARD and therefore he found it easy to immediately fall into the horse line up, at a time when PARD was very much in need of another horse. |

SHARKY

Sharky was 16 years old when he came to PARD in 2006. Sharky is a draft/quarter horse cross giving him a kind and honest personality.
Sharky had been used as an occasional trail horse by his previous owner. |
Due to Sharky’s inexperience in the world, it took him a little time to understand his role as a therapeutic horse. Sharky was slowly integrated into the program and soon learned what was expected of him and has happily taken his place in the line up since.
Although Sharky is a big horse he is forever dependable and sweet for all his riders and the volunteers who work with him. |
